Honestly, if the book's cover alone does not convince you to read this then I'm not sure what will, but I'll endeavour to entice you anyways. Every now and then I get an urge to read one of my favourite fiction subgenres: Japanese cat books. Charming, heart-warming, and tragic, We'll Prescribe You a Cat certainly fulfils this craving. I really appreciated the variety of the different characters - even those I found dislikeable (looking at you, Koga and Megumi) I was able to empathise with and root for. Additionally, the element of mystique surrounding the clinic was intriguing.
