Gabby Malpas is reworking the chinoiserie genre. Gabby’s lavish imagery could be interpreted as decorative but many of her paintings have stories based on her life experience as a Chinese adoptee growing up in a white family. The end results are joyful and colourful works but with a narrative that draws the viewer in for a closer look.
Each month has boxes for each day to record your diary dates. Calendars are twin loop wire bound and hang from the top.
Blue Island Press Calendars are printed and assembled in Australia. They use high-quality archival art paper. Each page has a frameable image to keep after use.
